Black Isle Farmers' Annual Bonspiel 4th January 2008
As usual the eager curling members of the society headed off on a "Charlie Fraser's" (Munlochy) Bus at 7.30am on Friday 4th January. The venue this year was again the Atholl Curling Rink in Pitlochry.
No one was too bothered when they got stopped at the snow gates at Blair Atholl as there was plenty of whisky and biscuits for entertainment.
Only when the Police told them to turn back, did the whisky stopped flowing.
A snowball fight, train journey and nearly £15 later they arrived safely back in Inverness at midnight.

3rd Team - Andrew Gammie, James Cormack, Elspeth Brown.
4th Team - Bob Brown, Donald Fraser, Ron Duncan, Claire Nicol.
5th Team - Nigel Murray, Andrew Cameron, Seamus Mann, Jenny Henderson.
6th Team - Richard MacWilliam, Robert Fraser, Mary Fraser, James Cameron.
7th Team - Mike Paul, Catherine Cormack, Donald MacLeod, Rod Gillies.
8th Team - Val Murray, Ian MacRae, Kenny Gill, Richard Maclennan.
The Mackenzie Trophy for most improved male curler was won by Rod Gillies.
The Paul Trophy for most improved female curler was presented to Siobhan Gill.
